On the day of the fireworks display, viewers gradually begin to gather around Ski Mountain (スキー山) inside the Kita-Chitose Camp (北千歳駐屯地) from the evening onward. Once you've spread out a picnic sheet to secure a spot, wait for the show to begin while sharing the dinner you picked up near the station. Since this year marks the milestone of the airport's 100th anniversary, the area around the venue is expected to be even busier than usual. Spending time watching the sky change color as the sun sets is also part of the enjoyment of this course.

Tips

The area around the venue is expected to be crowded on the day, so securing a spot early is recommended. It gets cool at night, so bring something to wear over your clothes. Please be sure to take all your trash home with you.
