It has an outdoor-event canopy equipped with lighting and sound, a multipurpose hall, and an exchange plaza featuring local product displays and a children's play area. The facility's name, Aid, combines the English word for support with e-do, a word from the southern Hokkaido dialect meaning it will go well. This parking lot becomes the special venue for the Hokuto City Summer Festival (北斗市夏まつり), serving as a main venue alongside the pedestrian-only zone at the shopping street in front of Kamiiso Station (上磯駅前商店街). Walking here while picking up dinner will build up your excitement for the evening's fireworks.

Tips

Right by Kamiiso Station (上磯駅) on the JR Esashi Line. Crowds are expected from the evening onward on the day of the festival, so shopping early is recommended.
