About this spot
The area around Otaru Port Wharf No. 3 gradually fills with spectators starting in the evening on the day of the fireworks festival. After spreading your picnic blanket to secure a spot, enjoy your prepared dinner while waiting for the show. Watching the harbor sky transition from crimson to deep blue as the sun sets is another joy of this course. You'll also feel the excitement unique to the Otaru Shiomatsuri festival during this time.

2026年7月26日(日)開催、小樽港第3号ふ頭基部を会場に行われる花火大会です。おたる潮まつりのフィナーレを飾る本格的な花火大会として知られ、20時から20時30分までの30分間、小樽港の夜空を大輪の花火が彩ります。運河のガス灯の明かりと花火が重なり合う、港町小樽ならではの情緒ある夜景も見どころです。歴史ある港町の1日を締めくくる、夏の風物詩です。
Tips
荒天時は中止または延期となる場合があるため、当日の開催可否は事前に確認しましょう。終了後は周辺道路とJR小樽駅が大変混雑するため、会場で少し余韻を楽しんでからの時間差帰宅がおすすめです。
