Held on July 26, 2026, at the base of Otaru Port Wharf No. 3, this fireworks festival serves as the grand finale of the Otaru Shiomatsuri. Known as an authentic fireworks display, magnificent fireworks illuminate the night sky over Otaru Port from 8 PM to 8:30 PM. The blending of gas lamp lights from the canal with the fireworks creates an atmospheric evening view unique to the historic port town of Otaru. It's a summer tradition that marks the perfect end to a day in Otaru.
