A fireworks display held on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at the base of Pier No. 3, Port of Otaru (小樽港第3号ふ頭基部). Known as the full-scale fireworks display that serves as the finale of the Otaru Ushio Festival, large fireworks color the night sky over the Port of Otaru for 30 minutes, from 8:00 to 8:30 p.m. A highlight is the atmospheric night view unique to the port town of Otaru, where the glow of the canal's gas lamps overlaps with the fireworks. It's a summer tradition that brings a day in this historic port town to a close.

The event may be canceled or postponed in case of bad weather, so check in advance whether it will be held that day. Afterward, the surrounding roads and JR Otaru Station become very congested, so it's recommended to enjoy the afterglow at the venue for a while before heading home at a staggered time.
