The shallow beach that itself serves as the venue for tonight's fireworks. On the beach where Tokyo Bay's calm waves lap ashore, the cool sea breeze feels pleasant toward evening, making it a perfect time for tide-pooling and shell collecting on the tidal flats. Walking around where the fireworks will launch during the day also helps when choosing a viewing spot at night. The silhouette of the Miura Peninsula across the bay dyed by the setting sun is another highlight.

Tips

Bring sandals and a towel if you plan to play in the tide pools. Spectators for the fireworks display start gathering from the evening, so it's recommended to enjoy the atmosphere early.
