About this spot

A large convention center and one of the symbols of Makuhari Shintoshin (幕張新都心). Its distinctive-looking building and spacious front plaza make it a great spot for strolling and taking commemorative photos. It gets lively when events are being held, but at other times you can walk the plaza at a relaxed pace. It's a good place to stop for a short break before heading to the stadium.

Tips

How crowded it is depends on whether an event is being held. You can reach the stadium on foot or by shuttle bus, so checking access options in advance will give you peace of mind.

Best time to visit

About 45 minutes. The calmer period before evening is an easy time to stroll around.
