Held Saturday, July 25, 2026, this fireworks festival closes out summer in the Asa area of Sanyo-Onoda City. Over 45 minutes from 8:00 pm to 8:45 pm, about 1,500 fireworks launch into the night sky over the Asa River. Enjoying fireworks in this warm, community-rooted atmosphere has a different charm from a big-city display. It's a fitting climax to a day spent visiting shrines and enjoying riverside scenery.
