About this spot

This hot spring town spreads out right next to Tsukioka Park and has long been cherished as a place for hot spring cures. Several public bathhouses and foot baths are dotted around, letting you stop by easily to soothe the fatigue of your trip. Just walking through the quiet streets gives you a sense of the hot spring atmosphere, making it a perfect time for the family to relax.

Tips

Within walking distance of Kaminoyama Castle. Many of the foot baths are free or cost only a few hundred yen to use, and it's convenient to bring your own towel.

Best time to visit

About 1 hour 15 minutes. Recommended as a relaxed stop sometime in the afternoon
