About this spot

This roadside station is known as a facility that makes use of spring water fed by Mt. Gassan (月山). You can actually taste the famous water, and there's also a shop selling locally harvested wild vegetables and specialty products, plus a light-meal corner where you can have lunch. The surroundings offer lush, mountain-ringed scenery, and you can feel the cool air typical of the foot of Mt. Gassan. It's a great place to stop by at a relaxed pace as you start your day.

Tips

Located along National Route 112, it's convenient to access by car. It's handy to bring an empty bottle to take some of the famous water home with you.

Best time to visit

About 1 hour. Midday tends to be relatively calm and relaxed.
