About this spot

This is a local hot spring facility set in the mountain valleys of Nishikawa Town (西川町). It's a day-use bathing facility cherished by local residents too, perfect for taking a break and washing off the sweat of your travels. Spend a relaxed afternoon before heading energetically to the festival venue in the evening. The surroundings are wrapped in a peaceful atmosphere of mountains and rice fields.

Tips

Travel by car from Lake Gassako (月山湖). Towels may be available to rent at the facility, but bringing your own is reassuring. Allow yourself plenty of time so you can make it to the evening summer festival.
