This hot spring district, counted among the Three Great Hot Springs of Mimasaka (美作三湯), has long been cherished as a therapeutic hot spring town. Public bathhouses and foot baths are dotted around, letting you drop in easily to soothe your travel fatigue. Tips

Located slightly south of central Mimasaka City, it's convenient to get around by car. Many foot baths are free or cost just a few hundred yen; bringing a towel is convenient.
