Held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, this fireworks festival colors the Yoshii River (吉井川) riverbed in the Nyuta area (入田地区) of Mimasaka City (美作市). Over the 25 minutes from 8:15 to 8:40 p.m., about 2,000 fireworks shells are launched into the night sky. Fitting for a town with the famous Yunogo Onsen (湯郷温泉) hot spring, the appeal is being able to enjoy touring the hot springs together with the fireworks. Fireworks viewed from the banks of a clear stream have a calm beauty unique to a town nestled among mountains.
