The Gonokawa riverbank in Kasuhuchi, which serves as the fireworks festival venue, is a pleasant location with a wide open view of the river. The sight of the sky changing from orange to deep indigo as the sun sets over the mountain ridges is already beautiful even before the fireworks begin. Tips

On the day of the fireworks festival, parking areas near the venue fill up from early in the day. Check the official parking information in advance and arrive as early as possible to secure a spot. The riverbank has uneven ground with gravel and stones in places, so visit wearing comfortable sandals or shoes. It's recommended to apply insect repellent before evening arrives.
