About this spot
A transfer station of the Ichibata Electric Railway connecting Izumo City and the Matsue Shinji Lake Onsen area. On the platform, you can leisurely watch trains pass back and forth, providing enjoyable time for train-loving children and adults alike. Tonight's fireworks festival is also known for a special "Fireworks Train" operating, and experiencing the Ichibata Electric Railway atmosphere during the day will make the evening even more exciting. The nostalgic atmosphere of the local line is also an attraction.

2026年7月25日(土)開催、里方保育園が中心となって開く地域の夏祭りです。一畑電車が「花火列車」として特別運行されることでも知られ、鉄道と花火が一体になった、この地域ならではの夏の風物詩です。夜空には約150発の花火が打ち上がり、規模は大きくありませんが、地域に根ざしたあたたかな雰囲気の中で楽しめます。昼間に訪れた川跡駅の記憶と重なり、より印象深い夜になります。

荒天時は中止の可能性があるため、当日の開催可否は主催者の発表で確認しましょう。終了後は駅周辺の道が混み合うため、少し余韻を楽しんでからの帰宅がおすすめです。
