Panoramic Views of the Seto Inland Sea's Beautiful Island Landscape from the Island's Highest Point

An observation platform at the island's highest point where you can see a 360-degree panorama of large and small islands dotting the Seto Inland Sea - the island's most spectacular viewpoint. On clear days, you can even see toward Shikoku, and you can also confirm the direction of Koe Harbor where tonight's fireworks will take place. As evening approaches, the changing sky colors are a sight to behold, giving you a chance to experience the grand scale of the island's natural landscape.

2026年7月25日(土)20:00〜20:30開催、大崎上島・木江港周辺で行われる海上花火大会です。厳島神社の十七夜祭にあわせて奉納される花火は、港の沖合いに設けられた台船から打ち上がり、約3,500発が静かな島の夜空を彩ります。海に囲まれた小さな港町だからこその、花火の音が波音とともに響く特別な30分間。四方を海に囲まれた島の夜空いっぱいに広がる花火は、都会の花火大会とはひと味違う、離島ならではの情緒を感じさせてくれます。
Tips
荒天時は中止または延期の可能性があるため、当日は町の公式発表で開催可否を確認しましょう。終了後はフェリー乗り場周辺が混み合うため、帰りの船便の時刻は事前に確認しておくと安心です。足元が暗いのでスマホのライトがあると安全です。
Tips
About 15 minutes by car from Shiromizu Waterfall. Parking space around the observation platform is limited, so please yield to one another during peak times. Evening insects are plentiful, so long sleeves are recommended.
Best time to visit
About 1 hour. In the early evening hours, the air is clear and you can see distant island silhouettes more easily.
