About this spot

A rest area built at the foot of the Tatara Bridge on the Shimanami Kaido and an excellent viewpoint to look up at the bridge up close. The park also has a beach and grassy plaza where you can spend time leisurely while enjoying the view of the Seto Inland Sea. There is also a shop handling local specialties, making it a convenient place to combine a break with souvenir shopping.

2026年7月26日(日)20:00から行われる、今治市上浦町のサマーフェスタを締めくくる花火大会です。約1,700発がしまなみ海道の島の夜空を彩り、海に囲まれた大三島ならではの開放的な雰囲気の中で楽しめます。歴史ある大山祗神社や瀬戸内の橋の景色を昼に巡ったあと、夜は島の花火で1日を締めくくりましょう。

Tips

荒天時は中止・延期の可能性があるため、事前に今治市の発表を確認しましょう。しまなみ海道を利用しての来場・帰宅は渋滞に備えて時間に余裕を持ってください。終了後は駐車場周辺が混み合います。

Tips

About 10 minutes by car from Oyamazumi Shrine. In summer, some areas have little shade, so bring a hat and sunscreen. It is also popular as a photography spot for the bridge, so commemorative photos are recommended.
