About this spot

This nature park spreads along the water's edge of the lower Kiso River, and is a nature observation spot where a variety of wild birds, including migratory ones, gather. The park has well-maintained walking paths and facilities that make observation easy, so you can enjoy watching the birds without needing binoculars. Amid the calm scenery unique to a wetland region, it's a time for the family to relax and experience nature together. In summer, the greenery grows lush, and the breeze crossing the water feels pleasant.

Tips

Some sections of the walking path are unpaved, so wear comfortable walking shoes. In summer, it's a good idea to use insect repellent. Some areas have little shade, so bring a hat and something to drink.

Best time to visit

About 1 hour 30 minutes. The afternoon, when the sunlight softens, is a comfortable time to visit.
