This is the area around Yatomi Station (弥富駅), served by the Kintetsu Nagoya Line and the JR Kansai Main Line. Lined with restaurants and shops, it's just the right place for a short break before the summer festival. Cool off with a cold drink or ice cream while preparing for the evening fireworks. You can feel the laid-back atmosphere typical of Yatomi, also known as a production area for goldfish.

Tips

You can get here from Yatomi Wild Bird Park (弥富野鳥園) by car or bus. There are plenty of restrooms and vending machines, making it a convenient rest stop. It's a good idea to pick up drinks and snacks here ahead of the evening.
