About this spot

This is a municipal sports and culture area in Maegasu-cho Nogata, Yatomi City, centered on Bunka Hiroba Shimin Ground (文化広場市民グランド), which has space for one baseball field and one softball field, with Hananoki Hiroba (はなのき広場) in the same corner. The ground is also used for track and field and soccer, and is equipped with night lighting. As evening approaches, people gradually start to gather for the fireworks viewing. Lay out a picnic sheet and relax while waiting for nightfall, gathered around a packed lunch or snacks picked up nearby. Thanks to the spacious grounds, it's easy to secure a spot even with young children.

Tips

Spot-claiming starts in the evening, so acting early is a good idea if you want a good spot. Check the location of the restrooms while it's still light out. It's a good idea to bring plenty of drinks.

Best time to visit

About 2 hours 30 minutes. The evening, as it starts to cool down, is a comfortable time.
