A representative park of Joetsu City, developed on the grounds of Takada Castle built during the Edo Period. Within the moat-surrounded grounds stands a restored three-story tower, and in summer, the moat is known for its blooming lotus flowers. The spacious park is thick with trees, offering the chance to rest in the shade while enjoying historic scenery. It becomes a leisurely stroll time to conserve energy for the evening fireworks.

Tips

荒天時は中止または延期となる場合があるため、当日の開催可否は上越市の公式発表で確認しましょう。終了後は周辺道路や駅が大変混み合います。水辺は足元が暗くなるので、懐中電灯があると安心です。
