About this spot

The Sekikawa River mouth area where tonight's fireworks festival will be held. As evening approaches, people gradually gather for the fireworks viewing. Spread out your picnic blanket and leisurely wait for sunset while sharing box lunches and snacks you've brought or purchased nearby. The transition of sky color from sunset to night against the open landscape where the river meets the sea is itself a sight to see.

Tips

Seating starts in the evening, so arriving early is recommended if you want a good spot. Check toilet locations while it's still light. The sea breeze can make you cold, so bringing a jacket or cardigan is wise.

Approximately 2 hours. The cooling evening time is most comfortable.
