Held on Sunday, July 26, 2026, this is the Morita Fireworks, launched from the banks of the Kuzuryu River in Fukui City's Morita area. Starting at 8 p.m., about 3,000 fireworks launch one after another into the night sky. This summer festival's fireworks have been carried on mainly by local residents, and the reflection of light on the river's surface is one of its highlights. In case of severe weather, the event may be canceled or postponed, so check in advance whether it will be held that day. Roads and parking lots around the area get very crowded afterward, so it's recommended to savor the afterglow for a while and leave a bit later, staggered from the crowd.
