A historic shrine said to have been founded in 701 (Taihoo 1) and considered the oldest Hachiman Shrine in the Kanto region. Located in the adjacent Shimotsuma City, the tranquil shrine grounds house historic shrine buildings. Beloved since ancient times for protection from misfortune and prayers for safe childbirth, the quiet grounds are perfect for taking a break from the summer heat.

2026年7月25日(土)開催、八千代町の夏を彩る夏まつりの花火大会です。19時から20時までの1時間、田園地帯に囲まれた会場の夜空に花火が打ち上がります。周囲に高い建物が少ないため、開けた夜空いっぱいに広がる花火をゆったりと楽しめるのが魅力です。地域の人々が集う、アットホームな雰囲気の夏祭りです。
