This regional park in Shimotsuma City is built around a large lake, with a promenade running all the way around the shoreline. The breeze off the water is refreshing, making it a perfect spot for the whole family to take a relaxed stroll. Spending a summer afternoon gazing out over the lake offers the kind of open, expansive moment only the countryside can provide.
Tips
About a 10-minute drive from Taihō Hachimangū. Since the promenade covers some distance, comfortable walking shoes are recommended. On sunny days, wear a hat and make use of the shaded rest areas.
