Since the Arikawa Ennichi Fireworks Festival (ありかわ縁日花火大会) starts late at 9:00 PM, you'll have plenty of time to relax at the port from evening into night. After picking up dinner, spread out a leisure sheet in a spot with a view of the port to claim your place. You can wait for the show to begin while savoring the quiet of the island night, until the sun sets and the stars start to appear.

Tips

The number of food stalls near the venue may be limited, so it's reassuring to bring food and drinks in advance. Since the show starts late, having a light jacket will help you stay comfortable at night.
