Held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, the Arikawa Ennichi Fireworks Festival (ありかわ縁日花火大会) closes out summer in Arikawa, Shin-Kamigoto Town. For 20 minutes from 9:00 PM to 9:20 PM, about 350 fireworks shells are launched into the night sky over the Arikawa Port breakwater (有川港堤防). The charm lies in the wide-open sky, with few tall buildings around the port, making the fireworks appear large and vivid. Fireworks echoing through the quiet island night become a calm and memorable moment unique to Goto.
