Many traditional earthen-walled storehouses and merchant houses feature distinctive namako-patterned exterior walls - white and black geometric patterns created by glazing tiles with plaster. Walking through gives a nostalgic feeling of old Japan. Local teahouses and souvenir shops are scattered throughout, perfect for sampling local specialties during your stroll. 2026年7月24日(金)、西伊豆町仁科の堂ヶ島公園を会場に行われる堂ヶ島火祭りです。約3,000発の花火が20時25分から21時まで堂ヶ島の海上に次々と打ち上がり、日中に見た奇岩や島々のシルエットを夜空の花火が照らし出します。「伊豆の松島」とも呼ばれる美しい景観の中で見上げる花火は、西伊豆ならではの特別なスケール感です。海食洞めぐりや絶景をめぐった1日の締めくくりにふさわしい、夏の西伊豆を代表する花火大会です。

荒天時の開催可否は主催者の公式発表で確認しましょう。終了後は駐車場や道路が大変混み合うため、少し余韻を楽しんでからの移動がおすすめです。砂浜は足元が暗いのでスマホのライトで安全に。

About 15 minutes by car from Kogane Cape. Summer sun is strong, so take regular breaks. The venue at Dogo Island Park is about 15 minutes away by car.
