This is the offshore fireworks festival that colors summer in Atagawa Onsen (熱川温泉), held from 8:45 PM on Saturday, July 25, 2026. From the seaside breakwater, about 700 fireworks shells color the night sky and the sea over 15 minutes. The scene woven together by the hot spring town's lights, rising steam, and the fireworks' glow reflected on the water's surface is a view brimming with the atmosphere unique to Atagawa Onsen. The short but concentrated fireworks finale becomes a special moment fitting for the close of the day.

In case of severe weather, the event may be canceled, so please check whether it's going ahead on the day through Higashiizu Town's tourism information. The station and surrounding roads get crowded after the event ends, so it's recommended to enjoy the afterglow before heading home with a staggered departure. It gets dark underfoot, so prepare a light source.
