About this spot

This coast stretches out right in front of Kaike Onsen (皆生温泉), featuring a white sand beach that curves gently like a bow. Families can enjoy a relaxing stroll or play in the water while taking in the open scenery of the Sea of Japan. On clear days, you can even see Mt. Daisen (大山) in the distance, letting you enjoy both sea and mountain views at once, a charm unique to Kaike Onsen. From evening onward, the area gets busy with people gathering to watch the fireworks, so it's recommended to enjoy the seaside atmosphere leisurely at this time of day.

Tips

About 15 minutes by car from the shopping street in front of Yonago Station (米子駅). Strolling is free. If you plan to swim, check the designated swimming area. The summer sun is strong, so don't forget sun protection.

Best time to visit

About 2 hours. As evening approaches, the sea breeze becomes more pleasant.
