This shrine enshrines Lord Nawa Nagatoshi (名和長年), a warrior who welcomed Emperor Go-Daigo (後醍醐天皇) after his escape from exile on Oki Island in the late Kamakura period, and who worked to overthrow the shogunate. The shrine grounds have a calm atmosphere, with a venerable shrine building that carries the region's history into the present. It's an essential spot for learning about the history of the port town of Mikuriya (御来屋), so it's a good place to start the day by praying for your family's safety.

Within walking distance of Mikuriya Fishing Port (御来屋漁港). Visiting is free. The shrine grounds are close to a residential area, so please view them quietly.
