About this spot

This coast faces the Sea of Japan with a view of Mt. Daisen (大山), letting you take in remarkably clear water up close. As it is not an officially managed swimming beach, be very mindful of the waves if you go near the water. Its proximity to tonight's fireworks venue is part of this course's appeal, letting you enjoy the seaside scenery from earlier in the day. Take a stroll along the water's edge and spend a summery moment gazing at the clear Sea of Japan.

Tips

A few minutes by car from Nawa Shrine (名和神社). Since this is not a beach managed for swimming, keep any water play to the water's edge and never take your eyes off children. Don't forget sun protection and to stay hydrated.

Best time to visit

About 1 hour 30 minutes. The afternoon, when the sunlight softens a little, is well suited for a stroll along the coast.
