About this spot

This is Geisei Village's representative beach, located right next to the Kotogahama Outdoor Theater (琴ヶ浜野外劇場), the venue for tonight's fireworks display. The sandy beach facing the Pacific Ocean stretches roughly 4 km east to west, and you can enjoy strolling while feeling the wind through the pine grove and the sound of the waves. It is not established as a swimming beach. Spending the afternoon taking in the open ocean views is a charm unique to Geisei Village, a coastal town. Since it starts getting crowded with fireworks viewers from evening onward, this is a good time to relax and enjoy the sea.

Tips

About 10 minutes by car from Ya-Shi Park (ヤ・シィパーク). Since it is not established as a swimming beach, keep water play to the water's edge and be very careful of the waves. Don't forget sun protection and to stay hydrated.
