Held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, this is the fireworks display of the 73rd Owase Port Festival. About 3,000 fireworks launch one after another over Owase Port, and the sound echoes off the terrain of this ria coastline, surrounded by mountains on three sides, creating a powerful impact that resonates deep in your chest. Locals and tourists gather along the quay and around the port to look up at this display of light coloring the summer night. It's a climax unique to Owase, where the life of the port town and the excitement of the festival become one.
