A seaside park in Ashikari Town facing Ariake Sea, very close to tonight's fireworks venue. It features spacious grassland and views of tidal flats unique to Ariake Sea, which reveal their vast expanse with the scent of tide at low tide. Ariake Sea is also known for creatures called "mudskippers," whose name is also used in tonight's festival. Spend the late afternoon leisurely in the openness of the seaside.

小城市芦刈町の海遊ふれあいパーク周辺を会場に開催される、地元の夏を彩る花火大会です。日が完全に暮れた20時、有明海に面した夜空に花火が次々と打ち上がります。街灯の少ない海辺ならではの澄んだ夜空に映える光の花は、都会の花火とはひと味違う迫力です。周囲を包む潮の香りと祭りのざわめきの中、家族で寄り添って見上げる時間は、夏の思い出として心に残るはずです。
Tips
荒天時は中止となる場合があるため、当日は主催者の発表を確認しておきましょう。終了後は周辺道路が混み合うため、余韻を楽しみながら少し時間をずらしての帰宅がおすすめです。足元が暗いのでスマホのライトを用意しておくと安心です。
Tips
Tidal flats change appearance greatly with the tides, so you can enjoy the scenery more at low tide. There's little shade, so having a hat or parasol is reassuring. The Kaiyuu Fureai Park venue is within walking distance.
Best time to visit
About 1 hour 30 minutes required. As evening approaches, the sea breeze becomes pleasant.
