About this spot

Just a short walk from JR Kinosaki Onsen Station, this main street runs alongside the Otani River in Kinosaki Onsen. Both sides of the street are lined with shops offering street food like Tajima beef specialties and crab croquettes, as well as soft ice cream, along with stores selling Japanese crafts and souvenirs. The townscape with its willow groves and traditional wooden inns offers a prime spot to feel the charm of the hot spring town just by walking. On the night of the fireworks festival, the street becomes increasingly crowded after evening, so it's recommended to leisurely enjoy it during the early afternoon hours.

Tips

About 3 minutes walk from JR Kinosaki Onsen Station. Use the eating spaces in front of stores for street food. On the day of the fireworks festival, there are many tourists from daytime, so be careful with valuables.

Takes about 1 hour. Early afternoon is less crowded than evening, making it a good time for street food enjoyment
