Located along National Route 5, this roadside station (michi-no-eki) offers an open view straight toward Mt. Yotei. It has a direct-sales stand with fresh local vegetables and dairy products, plus a restaurant serving Hokkaido-style dishes, and is popular with travelers taking a driving break. The grand mountain view from the terrace seating is perfect for photos. It's a fitting spot to start a day in Niseko, letting you enjoy both scenery and great food at once.

Tips

About 10 minutes by car from central Niseko-cho. Summer is peak tourist season, so it can get crowded — arrive early to secure parking and seating. On clear days when Mt. Yotei is visible, it's especially good for photos.

About 1 hour. On clear days, midday is when Mt. Yotei tends to be most visible.
