A signature park in Hiroo Town developed in commemoration of Naumann elephant fossils discovered here from approximately 20,000 years ago. With sprawling grassland, a park golf course, and playground areas, families can play and move freely. Naumann elephant-themed monuments within the park serve as popular photo spots for children. Play in this green-rich park to build up energy for the afternoon's Golden Route drive.

太平洋に面した十勝港を舞台に開催される、北海道の中でも屈指のスケールを誇る海上花火大会です。2026年8月1日(土)19時から、港の沖合いから約7,000発の花火が次々と打ち上がり、1時間にわたって夜の太平洋を彩ります。海面に反射する光と、遮るもののない広い夜空いっぱいに広がる花火は、海上花火ならではの迫力です。潮の香りを感じながら、家族で港町の夏祭りのフィナーレを見届けましょう。

Tips

眺涛台から車で約20〜30分、日没後は道路が混み合うため早めの移動がおすすめです。海沿いは夜になると冷え込むことがあるので羽織ものを。荒天時は中止や延期の場合があるため、開催可否は広尾町の公式発表で確認してください。

Tips

About 5 minutes by car from the former Hiroo Station Railway Memorial Park. Playground equipment and open areas have limited shade, so bring hats and remember to drink water during summer. Restrooms are well-maintained, providing peace of mind for families with small children.
