2026 70th Tokachi Port Festival Tokachi Port Marine Fireworks Display Full-Day Experience
A full-day course through Hiroo Town in Hiroo District, Hokkaido, centered on the 70th Tokachi Port Festival Marine Fireworks Display, held on August 1, 2026 (Saturday). Begin at noon with a walk through the former Hiroo Station Railway Memorial Park, which preserves memories of the former railway, then spend time playing freely in the spacious Naumann Park where Naumann elephant fossils were discovered. In the afternoon, drive the scenic Golden Route with its continuous cliff faces, enjoy the majestic view of the Pacific Ocean from Funbe Falls and Chote Terrace observation deck. In the evening, enjoy a meal at Chote Terrace and move to Tokachi Port Pier 4 as dusk approaches. At 7 PM, approximately 7,000 fireworks launch from offshore in the harbor, lighting up the night Pacific for an hour. A fireworks experience with the reflection of light on the sea and the scent of ocean spray, showcasing Hokkaido's characteristic sense of scale. This greedy all-in-one plan represents Hiroo Town's summer with harbor history, pristine nature, and marine fireworks combined.
