View Approximately 1,000 Fireworks from Close Distance
About this spot
The climax of Shimukapp Village Hometown Festival, a large fireworks display held at Shimukapp Village Rural Park. On August 1, 2026 (Saturday), approximately 1,000 fireworks launch into the village night sky. With the venue and launch site close together, the spectacular power of viewing fireworks from such proximity as if they might fall on you is unique to this village's fireworks display. Surrounded by mountains, sound resonates well, creating an immersive experience different from urban fireworks displays. The 52nd edition continues a long-cherished summer festival finale by the community.

Tips
In case of bad weather, the event may be cancelled or postponed, so confirm hosting status through Shimukapp Village or tourism association announcements.
