A cultural and artistic exchange hub in Higashikawa-cho, known for having declared itself the Town of Photography. Housed in a former school building, it includes a reading space, a gallery, and a cafe, and photography exhibitions are sometimes held here. In this calm space with a warm wooden feel, you can take a break while enjoying coffee made with Mt. Taisetsu spring water, among other options. It's a chance to experience the town's culture and daily life, a time unique to Higashikawa.

Tips

About 5 minutes by car from Michi-no-Eki Higashikawa, in the town center. The interior is air-conditioned, making it a good place to rest during the hot summer hours as well. The exhibits change depending on the season, so enjoy seeing what's on display on the day of your visit.

Best time to visit

About 1 hour 30 minutes. It's also a comfortable place to cool off during the hot daytime hours.
