About this spot

A small cape jutting out along Shosanvetsu Village's coastline, offering a panoramic view of the majestic Sea of Japan. On clear days, you can see the silhouettes of Teuri and Yagishiri Islands in the distance, with an open, expansive view unique to northern seas. It's appealing for its quiet atmosphere with few tourists, allowing for leisurely strolls while feeling the ocean breeze.

Tips

Just a few minutes' drive from Misaki Daiōen Park. Some areas have uneven footing, so wear comfortable walking shoes. Strong winds are common, so a light wrap is recommended.

Best time to visit

Approximately 1 hour. In the clear afternoon air, distant island silhouettes are especially visible.
