A local fishing port where Kamogawa's seafood is landed. Direct sales shops and fresh fish stores line the port area, where you can purchase freshly caught seafood and souvenirs of the day. In summer, local dried fish and processed products are abundantly available, making this a spot where you can feel the ocean's blessings of the Boso region. It's conveniently located near Maehara Beach, the fireworks venue, making it a perfect stop before your evening meal.

Tips

It's only a short drive from Kamogawa Matsushima. Popular items may sell out by evening, so purchase items of interest early. A cooler bag makes it easier to take home fresh seafood.

Best time to visit

Approximately 1 hour. The calm evening hours before dusk are best for leisurely shopping.
