Held on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at 19:30, this fireworks display brings the Irumagawa Tanabata Festival to its close. From the open riverbed venue, about 2,000 fireworks shells launch one after another into the night sky over 30 minutes. With few buildings blocking the view, visibility is excellent, making it easy for families to enjoy as well. It's a fitting finale to a day colored by Tanabata decorations, and a scene that symbolizes summer in Sayama.
