The spacious riverbed of the Arakawa River flowing through Sayama City is the main venue for tonight's fireworks festival. Located just a short walk from the Tanabata Street, the open embankment attracts many people anticipating the fireworks. Spreading street food or takeout meals while cooling off in the evening is one of the highlights of this course. Watching the sky's colors change as the sun sets creates anticipation for the night's fireworks.

Tips
荒天時は中止や延期の可能性があるため、当日の開催可否は主催者の公式発表で確認を。終了直後は狭山市駅方面が大混雑するため、フィナーレ後は少し余韻を楽しんでから移動するのがおすすめ。足元が暗い箇所もあるのでスマホのライトで安全に。
Tips
About a 10-minute walk from Tanabata Street. On the festival day evening, both the riverbed and surrounding roads become extremely crowded. Acquire food and drinks early. Public restrooms on the riverbed will have long lines, so use them early.
Best time to visit
Approximately 2 hours. The riverside before and after sunset is the most pleasant time for enjoying the evening coolness.
