Flow of the course
About 60 min here
About 15 min to the next stop
Next stop: Stroll the pine-lined promenade associated with Matsuo Basho and the bridge with a red railingAbout this spot
This general park is one of the largest representing Soka City, equipped with a spacious lawn plaza, a play equipment area, and a waterside biotope — everything a family needs to spend a full day here. Since the same spot becomes the fireworks festival venue at night, experiencing the park's atmosphere during the day is also useful for choosing a viewing spot later. With plenty of trees, you can take breaks in the shade even in midsummer, which is a nice touch.
Tips
Within walking distance of Dokkyo Daigaku-mae 〈Soka-Matsubara〉 Station (獨協大学前〈草加松原〉駅) on the Tobu Skytree Line. Parking is limited, so using public transportation is recommended. In summer, be sure to hydrate frequently to prevent heatstroke.
Best time to visit
About 1 hour needed. Relatively uncrowded and easy to play from morning through midday
