About this spot

This is the spacious riverbank of the Ewai River, which flows through Osaki City, and it's the main venue for tonight's fireworks festival. From the open embankment you can take in the flow of the river and the surrounding rural scenery, and walking here in daylight lets you get a sense of the venue's size and atmosphere. From evening onward it fills up with crowds heading for the fireworks, so it's recommended to leisurely enjoy the riverside scenery during this earlier time.

Tips

You can get here on foot or by car from Palette Osaki. The riverbank has little shade, so bring a hat or sun protection. The ground is dirt and gravel, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

Best time to visit

About 1 hour 15 minutes. In the soft light before evening, the riverside scenery looks especially beautiful.
