Seven gently sloping mountains form a ridge, creating a representative satoyama landscape of Yamato Town. Paddy fields spread at the base, and this beloved local spot offers beautiful nature throughout the seasons. Without undertaking serious mountaineering, you can fully experience satoyama air simply by viewing from the base or strolling along trails. In summer, lush greenery creates a refreshingly pleasant breeze.
Tips
Approximately 10 minutes by car from Yamato Town Comprehensive Sports Park. Some trails have uneven terrain, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended. If doing serious mountaineering, check equipment and weather conditions beforehand.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1 hour. With abundant shade, even hot summer daytime is relatively comfortable.
