This green space is developed on the left bank of the Jinzu River, with a field for soccer and athletics as well as a grassy plaza. Stairs lead down to the water's edge, letting you view the river's flow up close, and the spot is also known as a place for ayu (sweetfish) fishing. The Toyama Prefectural Central Botanical Garden is nearby. In the evening, have dinner here and get in the mood for the fireworks while watching the sky change color as the sun goes down.
Tips
About a 15-minute drive from Kansui Park. On the evening of the fireworks festival, the surrounding roads become extremely congested. Get your food and drinks early. Be sure to take your trash home with you.
Best time to visit
About 2 hours 15 minutes. The changing sky colors around sunset make this the most pleasant time of the day
