The fireworks display of the Flame Festival: Toki City Oribe Festival (炎の祭典土岐市織部まつり), held from 7:40 PM on Sunday, August 2, 2026, along the Asano riverbed area (浅野河原) on the Toki River (土岐川). About 3,500 fireworks color both the river's surface and the night sky at once, creating a powerful spectacle as the sound echoes off the surrounding mountains. As the finale to a day filled with shopping and a rich taste of Mino ware culture, this is set to be a special 30 minutes looking up at the night sky with your family from the riverside.

Tips

The event goes ahead in light rain but is cancelled in severe weather (with no makeup date), so check the official announcements from Toki City or the festival organizers on the day. Some areas of the riverbed can be uneven underfoot, so wear comfortable, sturdy shoes. Roads around the area get crowded after the show ends, so leaving at a staggered time is reassuring.
