About this spot
The Flame Festival - Toki City Oribe Festival fireworks display takes place on August 2 (Sunday) at 7:40 PM around the Asano Kawahara area on the Toki River. Approximately 3,000 fireworks illuminate both the river surface and the night sky simultaneously, creating a spectacular sight with echoes of sound bouncing off surrounding mountains. The riverbank has uneven ground in places, so wearing comfortable shoes is recommended. The surrounding roads will be crowded after the show ends, so leaving at a different time is safer.
