About this spot

On the day of the fireworks festival, food stalls line the streets around Seratopia Toki (セラトピア土岐) (its north and west sides). After enjoying dinner from the food stalls, head to the Asano riverbed area (浅野河原) on the Toki River (土岐川) riverbed, the fireworks venue, and spread out a picnic sheet to claim your viewing spot. Spending the cool of the evening listening to the river's gentle murmur offers the special atmosphere unique to a summer festival.

Tips

About 10 minutes by car from Oribe no Sato Park (織部の里公園). The area gets very crowded from evening onward on the day of the fireworks festival, so claiming a spot early is recommended. Most food stalls are cash-only, so it is reassuring to bring small change.

About 1 hour 45 minutes needed. You can also enjoy the changing colors of the sky around sunset during this time
